Detroit Is Underwater But My Books Are Dry
This WWW Wednesday:
This week Detroit and the surrounding metro area were hit with a torrential downpour. The flooding was horrible and many people’s basements were destroyed. My thoughts are with everyone and good luck!
On my side of the lake (Lake Michigan that is) everything is pretty dry, including my books! This weeks reads have not changed that much. Detroit City Is The Place To Be by Mark Binelli is still on my nightstand. I’m slowly working through this one. It’s well written and enjoyable, but other obligations have gotten in the way.
Enjoy this weeks WWW Wednesday!

I’m from Detroit and it was pretty bad here! I’m lucky that my apartment was spared, but the roads are still closed and it’s a nightmare to drive anywhere. Luckily, today is supposed to be dry and the drains can have a break.
Love the PiktoChart! It’s such a great graphic!

Yea – my sister and friends have been sending me pictures. Glad you were spared. Just heard that Snyder declared Wayne, Oakland and Macomb as in a state of emergency.
Stay safe and dry!
Chrissi Reads
I loved Outlander. It’s a great book! 🙂 Sorry to read about the floods in Detroit and the surrounding area.

I really enjoyed it too! Have you read any of the sequels Chrissi? I’m slightly hesitant.
