Books,  Weekly Wraps

One Book At A Time Makes For Better Reading

one book at a time

I’ve not been reading as much as I desire. By the time I get done at the end of the day my brain is so tired that I barely have the focus to read a Facebook post let alone a book. I am still doing crossword puzzles at the end of the day, so that’s a plus!

I cut out a couple of books from the “currently reading” pile to focus my reading. My reading pile was a little ambitious before. I tried juggling 3-4 books and it just didn’t work.

One book at a time – that’s my new motto.

One Book At Time – Sunday Summary

With my new motto I’ve been able to enjoy my current read so much more! Ta-Nehisi Coates’ Between The World and Me has been illuminating. Coates is a powerful writer with a strong message. I love it when a book makes my mind race with reflection and Between the World and Me does just that!

What are you currently reading? Did you recently finish a good book? Is there anything in your “to-read” pile your anxious to start?

Was there a passage in your current read that really struck you this week?
