Last Week in Books
Sorry this weekly wrap up is coming a day late. I took a lazy Sunday yesterday. Nothing spectacular happened in the reading world over the week. Progress was made on MWF Searching for a BFF.
How was your week in books?
New Addition
Two new additions to report!
I’ll be listening to The House on Seventh Street by Karen Vorbeck Williams on audiobook. The ebook will be going on sale in celebration of the audiobook release!
The other addition is book related. My sister bought me beautiful bookends for my birthday! Take a gander below.

Re: your question about your readers’ week in books. If you enjoy history and historical novels and, given the emerging detente with Cuba, you may enjoy reading TELEX FROM CUBA by Rachel Kushner. In her first novel, which has received a number of awards, she provides the background of life in Cuba pre-revolution, though the personal revelations of American families living there, enslaved peasant workers, crooked politicians and radical revolutionaries. It sets the stage for Castro’s revolution that has endured for 60 years and provides a better understanding of the imperialistic and greedy aspirations of foreigners determined to ravage this poor country of its limited resources. It is both entertaining and enlightening.

Thanks! Slowly, but surely I’ll get around to finishing a book. It seems like it’s been forever since I wrote a review.
