The Hunt for a South Carolina Book
One month later and Sitting in the Stacks reappears! My one week off turned into a month, because I became swamped with a new job, planning a move, and other projects.
I recently came back from South Carolina where I visited a super cute bookstore. Stay tuned for a Bookstores of the World post! Oh – and there should be a book review of Murder in the Marais soon, too.
What has everyone else in the book blog world been up to? What are you all reading?
New Additions
Of course one of my new additions is the sequel to the current Aimee Leduc book I’m reading. Thank you Cara Black for filling the void that ending Tana French’s Dublin Murder Squad left.
Also, I bought a book at the South Carolina bookstore I’ll post about soon. It took a good search to find a book that appealed to me that also takes place in South Carolina AND by a South Carolinian author. Whew!
It was a hunt, but I think I made a good choice and cannot wait to dive into Mindy Friddle’s The Garden Angel. Though the cover does make me think of Doctor Who. I can’t blink when it’s around.
Week…Month…In Books
What are you reading? Did you have a bountiful reading month in May?

I’m reading MODOC, a true story about a boy and his elephant friend.

Is MODOC the title or an abbreviation? Also, I’d like an elephant friend!
